Painted Edge Business Cards

Thick stock with hand-painted colored edges.

Painted-edge cards are built from heavy board and then finished by applying colour to the cut edge, so the card shows a band of colour when viewed from the side or held in a stack. It is a finish that only works because the stock is thick enough to have a visible edge, and the contrast between the printed face and the edge colour is the whole point.
