A curved backwall bends the graphic surface toward the visitor, which softens the hard rectangle of a booth and helps enclose the space in front of it. The curve also stiffens the structure and reduces glare by scattering overhead light across the face instead of bouncing it back in one direction. Tension fabric stretched over a shaped frame is the usual construction.
