Backlit posters are printed on a translucent film sized to drop into an existing lightbox. The material is denser than standard poster stock so the light diffuses evenly instead of showing the lamps behind it, and artwork is prepared with the transmitted-light shift in mind. Swapping the print changes a lit display without touching the fixture.
