Perforated window film is printed on one side and micro-punched throughout, so it reads as a solid graphic from outside while people inside see out through the holes. It is the standard solution for covering glass without blacking it out, and it cuts glare and heat gain as a side effect. Viewed at night with interior lights on, the effect reverses.
